So many Beaver County folks, hikers, Indian enthusiasts, etc. have wondered about this mysterious monolith and its mystical interpretation. I submit, with confidence, that this historic/partial megalith was NOT carved by Native Americans in this region. Indigenous peoples in our area did not build in stone; they lacked the tools to do so. What they did do with stone was create weapons; consequently, this is one of the primary reasons there is little evidence of their passing in our area. That said, this is an intriguing piece of historical parchment in our region. I made this film almost 10 years ago. It is still relevant to any modern discussion. Please share your thoughts. Thank you!Β
